Jewelry for Valentino was produced by several well-known European costume jewelry firms, including Coppola e Toppo, Hurel, and the Soriano sisters, according to "Costume Jewelry for Haute Couture" by Florence Muller. Many of those pieces were limited creations for runway wear. Jewelry collections accompanying ready-to-wear clothing lines were made as well, particularly in the 1980s and'90s.
