A gorgeous vintage ring from the 1950s featuring an oval cut amethyst in the center in a halo of diamonds in a striking figural goldwork 14k gold dome setting. For vintage and antique pieces, gold karat purity is provided as a range. This is due to historical variations in manufacturing processes and past legal hallmarking standards. Which may not always align with modern practices as these variations are sometimes undetectable by acid tests. Gemstones: amethyst - oval faceted cut amethyst 11.2x9.2x6.72, diamonds. Gemstones measured & graded while set subject to mounting limitations, weight is calculated by formula. Color gemstones were not tested for treatments.

We usually don't polish the items that we sell, as the majority of our clients prefer the beautiful patination that jewelry acquires with age. If we see damage or anything that stands out from normal wear, it will be noted under the condition section of the listing. Otherwise, items will be listed as estate condition.
